De jagers op het landgoed mochten enkel nog maar op bosmuizen jagen en ze kocht ook nog eens tweehonderd teckels, die de muizen uit moesten graven.
Ze moest de jacht staken, haar koetsen en kasteel verkopen en ze moest verhuizen naar het oude "jachthuis" op het landgoed.
De meeste bosmuizen waren hier allang vóór de Barones gaan wonen omdat dit zo langzamerhand de enige veilige plaats op het landgoed was.
